Description

Job Summary:
A Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a position located in Madison, Wisconsin. This highly specialized role involves providing critical care to pediatric patients in a state-of-the-art unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Schedule: Day/Night rotating shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Inpatient RN with two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty; WI RN license or compact license; Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); strong Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience; at least one year of Cardiovascular (CV) experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high acuity hospital settings, experience with Epic electronic medical record system
Float: Float rotation may be required to NICU and general care units
Additional Information: Candidates must pass a telemetry test prior to starting; vaccinations include flu vaccine; pass/fail testing with strict criteria required before start date including adult and pediatric telemetry exams.
