Description
Job Summary:
An Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CV) Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a travel assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves working in a specialized ICU environment requiring acute patient care management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin
- Schedule: Nights shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: State license, at least 2 years of previous ICU or CCU RN experience, Epic experience, BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and a valid drivers license.
- Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 travel contract completed, NIHSS certification required, and prior experience in a Level 3 or higher trauma center.
- Additional Information:
- Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of the following holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
- Orientation schedule begins on June 22, 2026, with subsequent sessions through August 3, 2026.
- Shift hours are nights, with a call-back multiplier of 1.5x minimum for two hours, and other multipliers for callback and holiday work.
- The provider must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, unless local in Madison with a 10% rate reduction.
- Clinical responsibilities include contributing clinical knowledge within the interdisciplinary team and float within the same discipline across local campuses.
