Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Lubbock, Texas. The position involves providing care to obstetric patients and supporting the delivery process within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid compact state license in hand at submission, minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience, current certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AWHONN Intermediate, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating for cesarean sections, recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, use of external fetal monitoring, triage experience.
  • Float: No float rotation required.
  • Additional Information: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Candidates should have the ability to work in a high-acuity environment with interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary.
