Description
Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab environment. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met. Candidates are required to bring their active RN license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Glen Burnie, Maryland
- Start Date: June 22, 2026
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license (MD or Compact), at least 2 years of experience working in Cardiac Cath Laboratory and critical care or emergency department experience, certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), and Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI). Candidate must be able to obtain a valid Epic charting system experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous community hospital experience and experience with interventional cardiac procedures.
- Additional Information: The role requires float within the specialty and other units or sister facilities within scope. Candidates must be comfortable with procedural sedation, monitoring, and working within a fast-paced cardiac environment. Regular orientation hours are 8 hours.
- Submission Requirements: Must document compliance with required certifications and licenses within 5 days prior to start.
