Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry registered nurse (RN) professional in Towson, Maryland. The position involves providing patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit operating during night shifts. Candidates are required to bring their active RN license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Towson, Maryland
• Position Type: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele)
• Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on July 6, 2026, for a 13-week contract.
• Required Qualifications: Maryland RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Certified Peripheral Intravenous (PIV) management. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems such as Epic; patient ratio experience of 1:5; previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit manages a general medical-surgical patient population including cerebrovascular accident (CVA), cardiac procedures, chest tubes, sheaths, and other complex care needs. Candidates should be comfortable with a broad scope of telemetry equipment, patient management protocols, and isolation precautions. Successful applicants should be prepared to work scheduled holiday shifts and be flexible with floating within scope.
• Vaccinations: Flu vaccination required; other vaccinations as scheduled.
