Job Summary:
This position is for a Clinical Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Oncology in North Carolina. The role involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Chapel Hill, North Carolina
• Schedule: Days; 12 hours per shift; Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC
  • One (1) year of nursing experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate Degree (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Radiation oncology experience (preferred but not required)
  • Cancer Registered Nurse (RN) experience (helpful but not required)
• Additional Information:
  • Experience in radiation oncology is preferred but not required.
  • Oncology Nursing experience is helpful but not required.
  • Skills include patient assessment, care planning, patient education, communication, leadership, collaboration, and delivering cost-effective care.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is required.
