Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist specializing in Orthopedic, Neuro, Spine, ENT, and Robotic surgeries at a facility located in San Francisco, California. The role involves assisting in surgical procedures by performing routine and delegated duties according to departmental standards and policies to ensure high-quality patient care. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of employment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures.

Job Details

  • Location: San Francisco, California
  • Schedule: 5X8 shift, start times from 0645 AM to 1300 PM, with weekends included in schedule rotation. On-call is required.
  • Required Qualifications: CST licensure (NBSTSA), BLS certification (AHA), HS Diploma or GED, minimum of 2 years of experience with strong neuro, spine, and total joint surgery; experience with neuro, spine, orthopedic procedures, and DaVinci Surgical Systems required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience, prior charge and community hospital experience, and neuro/spine/ortho specialization.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing, with a valid state license required at submission. A background check (including BG hits or DUIs) must be disclosed prior to submission. A 7-year work history verification is required. Flu and COVID-19 vaccines status are to be confirmed. Travel requirement is 50 miles; local candidates are accepted at a lower rate. Floating to other facility locations may be required based on census needs.
