Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse for a facility located in Hudson, Florida. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care within the cardiovascular operating room setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Hudson, Florida
• Shift Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: June 29, 2026
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 5+ years of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience, main operating room experience, and be willing to float to the main operating room as needed. Candidates without these skills will not be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Nurses with additional skills in scrubbing and Meditech electronic medical record experience will be considered first.
• Additional Information: The unit has 12 suite operating rooms, including 2 Cardiovascular Operating Rooms (CVORs), with a staffing ratio of 1:1 for patients. The typical procedures performed include coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), valve replacement, thoracic, and vascular surgeries. The unit operates under a variable call schedule, with staff scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
