Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart nurse position available in Hudson, Florida. This role involves working in a busy surgical unit specializing in cardiovascular procedures, including CABG and valve replacements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Hudson, FL
- Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH)
- Shift Hours: 8 hours (Day Shift and Night Shift options)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must have 5+ years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, main Operating Room experience, and willingness to float to the main OR. EMR experience with Meditech is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with additional procedures such as thoracic and vascular surgeries, and nurses with Meditech experience.
- Additional Information: The role involves working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff. The unit features new equipment and technology, with a highly experienced staff committed to excellent patient care.
