Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in a hospital setting providing care across various units. The position involves float assignments to multiple areas, including Med/Surg Telemetry, Emergency Department, and Intensive Care Units. The role requires managing cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and interpretation of telemetry strips, with a focus on acute patient care during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts RN License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location; 2 years working as a Traveler; experience with telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours; TR Band experience; ability to perform cardiac drips and read telemetry strips; comfort floating to all hospital Med/Surg Telemetry units (Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, Emergency Department, PH6/7, Pingree 4, & Overflow); clinician to patient ratio up to 6:1 during night shifts; familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record.

• Additional Information: Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and reading telemetry strips across multiple units. The float pool nurse must be willing to work nights and every other weekend, with rotation involved. The assignment involves caring for a diverse patient population including ED border patients, mental health med nurses, and transfer-ready ICU patients.
