Description

Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Salem, Massachusetts. This role involves working in a float pool across multiple units with rotating shifts. Candidates are required to bring their active nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Schedule: Rotating shifts (Days/Eves) with 1 to 3 rotations to Nights per contract, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location, and 2 years as a traveler.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing cardiac monitoring, interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours, managing cardiac drips, and reading Tele strips.
Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to float to 8 different units within the hospital, including Medical/Surgical Telemetry areas and specialized units. Familiarity with the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is required. Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, medication administration, and patient care for diverse populations including emergency department border patients, mental health unit patients, and ICU transfer-ready patients.
