Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical with Telemetry) in Massachusetts. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including surgical and medical patients, within a hospital setting. The position requires nurses to interpret their own electrocardiogram (ECG) strips and perform various patient care duties. Candidates are required to bring their licensure. The start date is June 23, 2026, and candidates must be available for orientation and testing prior to start.
Job Details:
- Location: Milton, Massachusetts
- Schedule: 12-hour daytime shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing; recent acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing experience of 2+ years; CPR and ACLS certifications; EPIC EMR experience preferred; ability to read and interpret ECGs; MA licensure required at the time of submission; must be separated from the facility for 6+ months and in good standing; no locals within 50 miles will be considered; candidates must pass ECG/Telemetering and Medications tests prior to acceptance, with a passing score of 85%, administered via Zoom prior to onboarding; recent acute Medical Surgical nursing experience required.
- Additional Information: Must pass testing during onboarding; tests include Dysrhythmia and Medication assessments, administered by the organization with only one attempt allowed; only medical exemptions are accepted; all RNs are required to read and interpret their own ECG strips.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to cover all Medical Surgical with Telemetry units.
