Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Surgery Center Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Saint Helena, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. The position entails supervising nursing staff, collaborating with healthcare teams, and providing patient education in a safe and caring setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Saint Helena, California
• Schedule: Rotating day shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with start times between 5:30 am and 11:00 am, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California required; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications from approved vendors required; at least 2 years of experience in outpatient surgery, endoscopy, or perioperative settings preferred
• Additional Information: Must be comfortable with pre-op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) phase II workflows; experience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover is a plus; preoperative open heart and total joint patients experience preferred.
• Responsibilities: Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment findings, develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, evaluates patient outcomes, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, provides patient and family education, participates in discharge planning, and delegates duties appropriately.
• Certifications: Valid California RN license required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
