Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nursing position in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Burlington, Massachusetts
  • Specialty: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
  • Schedule: 12-hour days; shifts on Mondays, with floating every 4 hours as needed; minimum of 36 hours per week; every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday for days, Friday through Sunday for nights)
  • Certifications and Education Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA preferred; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Nursing license, BLS certification, 0 years minimum experience; experience with Epic electronic health record system is required; Level 1 trauma experience preferred if no prior travel experience; candidates must be separated from the organization for a minimum of 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, or contract)
  • Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission; day one pass/fail testing will be administered; Relias practice tests available via Relias; ratios will be between 1:3-5; floating to emergency department holds, inpatient holds, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), and other boarding units may occur in 4-hour blocks, with rare floating; weekly start dates (Mondays); the hospital may require Level 1 trauma experience if no prior travel experience
