Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Specialist position available in Winchester, Virginia. This role involves supporting surgical procedures within the cardiac and vascular specialties in a busy OR unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details
- Location: Winchester, Virginia
- Schedule: Days; 10 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (AHA) only; Virginia State License; 2+ years of CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience; proficiency in Word. Candidates with 5+ years of CVOR CST experience and proficiency in Word, Excel, Epic, Workday, and ShiftWizard are preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ECMO, MAZE, and IABP.
- Additional Information: Must float to Vascular and Thoracic cases. On-call shifts range from 6 to 13 within a 4-week period, including weekends and holidays. May float to main OR if no vascular cases are scheduled.
