Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in College Station, Texas. This role involves providing skilled surgical nursing care within a busy surgical suite, with a focus on neuro, orthopedic, trauma, and other general cases. Candidates are required to bring their licensed RN credential on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: College Station, Texas
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Schedule: Days shift, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential call shifts evenings and weekends as scheduled. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; at least 2-3 years of OR experience; experience with all case types and robotics Xi; trauma experience preferred; previous travel experience; certifications include BLS and ACLS; minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Surgical Information Systems (SIS), familiarity with all case types including neuro, ortho, GI scopes, and robotics DaVinci Xi.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between College Station and Bryan campuses as needed.
• Additional Information: The unit is a tight-knit, team-oriented environment; orientation includes several days of training with a buddy system for case familiarization; hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment; scrubs need to be brought from home; call response time is 30 minutes; holiday shifts are call only, rotating with permanent staff.
