Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac-Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse for a contract assignment located in Naperville, Illinois. This role involves working the night shift on weekends, specifically Friday through Sunday nights, with a focus on providing specialized patient care within the Cardiac-Neuro ICU. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Naperville, Illinois
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Illinois license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); EPIC charting experience; 2 or more years of solid ICU experience; recent skills checklist (completed within 12 months); one reference (within 12 months); updated resume; IL license verification.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC Charting experience is highly preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Nurse to patient ratio: 1:2 or 2-3 depending on acuity. Orientation occurs on Mondays with credentials due the Thursday before the start date; orientation hours are paid and total 6 hours. Submission of all required documentation is necessary prior to orientation.

• Notes: The position requires a Cardiac-Neuro ICU Nurse with relevant certifications and experience to provide expert patient care in a high-acuity environment. The shift includes weekend night work only.
