Operating Room Technician (Surgical Technologist) in Golden, Colorado. This role involves supporting surgical teams by maintaining sterile environments, preparing instruments, and assisting during surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Location: Golden, Colorado
• Schedule: Night shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour nights (8:30 pm to 7:00 am)
• Required Qualifications:
  • Active Colorado License (DORA) required
  • NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist required
  • BLS (AHA) required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or military surgical tech training within the past six months (not eligible for Tech in Surgery exam)
  • Two (2) years of scrub tech experience in hospital or military surgical services within the last three years
  • One (1) year of cardiovascular operating room scrubbing experience
  • At least one (1) year of cardiovascular experience as a surgical technologist
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week
  • No prior experience required beyond outlined qualifications
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year clinical experience in an accredited hospital
• Additional Information:
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain sterile fields and ensure environmental, sharps, and fire safety.
  • Knowledge of surgical services, sterile processing, sterilization processes, and emergency response.
  • Experience supporting surgical teams and in life support situations related to surgical care.
  • Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations and work under supervision within surgical services.
