Description

Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position in Billings, Montana. The role involves performing independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to accepted standards set by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized care to neonatal patients within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Billings, Montana
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree from an accredited school, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing and certification as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
  • Additional Information:
    Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care. Evaluates health status through ongoing assessment of health data. Provides health teaching and counseling. Executes delegated medical functions. Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans. Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Uses resources as needed. Promotes mission, vision, and values of the organization, and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications. May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
