Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare professional is a Registered Nurse positioned in Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position supports patient assessment, health teaching, counseling, therapy, treatment planning, and documentation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current license as a Registered Nurse in Montana, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and previous Registered Nurse experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification appropriate to the unit or service are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Performs clinical nursing duties, assesses patient health status, implements and evaluates nursing care plans, and documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) and be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
