Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position available in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves providing direct patient care, assessing patient conditions, and executing nursing and medical functions in accordance with accepted standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN degree from an accredited School of Nursing; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; additional certifications appropriate for the unit or service.
- Additional Information: Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with the accepted practice standards. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care; provides health teaching and counseling; monitors treatment plans; documents in accordance with regulatory guidelines; may be required to float to other departments as needed; may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
