Job Summary:
Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery Department Santa Monica, California. This position involves providing comprehensive care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in a high-volume, beachside acute care hospital. Candidates must be experienced in assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating for cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, and high-risk pregnancy care. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA license must be in hand; a minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery; certifications in Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and AWHONN Advanced.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and neonatal intensive care.
• Float: Float to postpartum if needed.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to work in an operating room during cesarean sections, assist with vaginal deliveries, facilitate high-volume facility births (200-300/month), and work in a high-risk antepartum setting. The position requires flexibility for holiday work and includes some work in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, with newborn and maternal couplet care responsibilities.
