Description
Job Summary:
The position is for a Post Partum Floor Registered Nurse located in Walnut Creek, California. The role involves providing care for patients following vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including those with high-risk conditions such as GHTN, Mag Pts, and Bakari balloon placements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California licensure, minimum of 2+ years of experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience with EPIC, Certified Lactation Specialist (CLS), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
- Additional Information: Ratios are CA state mandated at 1:3, depending on patient acuity and census. Float: float rotation may be required to like units as needed. Typically works every other weekend.
