Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves working in a 20-bed medical unit, providing patient care with a focus on PCU skills. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Shift Time: Nights
Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, PCU skill competency, and 0 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting, proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The unit has 20 beds, staffed by a charge nurse, five registered nurses (RN) or licensed vocational nurses (LVN), and two patient care technicians (PCTs) per shift. Patient ratios are estimated at 4-5:1, with all PCU and Medical/Surgical areas included. The dress code for nurses is royal blue scrubs, and for PCTs, maroon scrubs.
