Job Summary:
The sterile processing technician position in Saint Louis, Missouri, involves supporting the operations of the sterile processing department within the healthcare organization. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role focuses on ensuring the proper sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments to maintain patient safety and operational efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM or 9 AM to 9 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a sterile processing technician or equivalent, possession of a valid license, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgical instrument sterilization and working in fast-paced environments.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves assisting with general, gynecological, genitourinary, orthopedic, and ear, nose, and throat procedures. Candidates must adhere to the scrub dress codeblack scrubs provided by the facility. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
