Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) nurse position located in McKinney, Texas. This travel assignment involves working in a surgical unit specializing in heart procedures, with a focus on trauma, neuro, and orthopedic/spine surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: McKinney, Texas
• Shift: Days (Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of operating room experience, neuro and orthopedic/spine experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records system
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma center experience, experience with orthopedic procedures
• Additional Information: The role involves approximately 10 to 15 on-call days per month. The unit has 7 operating room suites, with a team including RNs, Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs), and ancillary support staff. The unit primarily performs orthopedic, neuro, robotics, trauma, and urology procedures. Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
