Description

Job Summary:
The Dallas, Texas, location is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience on the Postpartum Floor (Lund & Delivery unit). The position involves caring for high-risk obstetric patients in an antepartum and labor and delivery setting. Candidates are required to bring their licensed RN credentials on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Dallas, TX
  • Unit: Antepartum (625)
  • Schedule: Night shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
    • Intermediate AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Fetal Monitoring certification
    • 2+ years of experience in High Risk Labor & Delivery or Antepartum care in a hospital setting
    • Experience with Meditech and CPIN (Primary) electronic medical records systems
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
    • RN Clinical Management experience
  • Additional Information:
    • Experience with magnesium sulfate management and preterm labor management preferred
    • Dress code includes navy blue designated scrubs; nails must be clean and natural; hairstyles should be neat and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; tattoos should be covered; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
    • Floating may be required as needed in accordance with hospital policy
