Description

Job Summary:
The Dallas, Texas, location is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience on the Postpartum Floor (Lund & Delivery unit). The position involves caring for high-risk obstetric patients in an antepartum and labor and delivery setting. Candidates are required to bring their licensed RN credentials on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Dallas, TX
Unit: Antepartum (625)
Schedule: Night shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Intermediate AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Fetal Monitoring certification
- 2+ years of experience in High Risk Labor & Delivery or Antepartum care in a hospital setting
- Experience with Meditech and CPIN (Primary) electronic medical records systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- RN Clinical Management experience
Additional Information:
- Experience with magnesium sulfate management and preterm labor management preferred
- Dress code includes navy blue designated scrubs; nails must be clean and natural; hairstyles should be neat and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; tattoos should be covered; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
- Floating may be required as needed in accordance with hospital policy
