Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) technician in Aurora, Colorado. This position entails providing specialized support for cardiac surgeries within a dedicated OR Heart Team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Aurora, Colorado
• Schedule: Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) technician experience. Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies), and National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) must be in hand.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, previous travel experience as a CVOR technician in large trauma facilities, and cardiovascular surgical experience involving procedures such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and valve replacements are desirable.
• Additional Information: Must be proficient in open heart experience; the role involves floating within 25 miles of the facility when needed. Call requirements will vary based on staffing needs and will be discussed at the interview. No weekend shifts are required.
