Description
Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) Nurse is needed in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves working in a busy surgical unit that handles procedures such as cardiac surgeries, trauma cases, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, and robotic surgeries including DaVinci and Mako systems. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and experience with operating room procedures and skills. No prior years of experience required.
- Additional Information: The role involves working on a Level I trauma center unit with a focus on cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, and robotic procedures. Documentation is managed via the Meditech system. Float rotation may be required depending on operational needs.
