Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The role involves providing high-acuity patient care in a 16-bed surgical intensive care environment, supporting numerous complex surgical and trauma cases. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts, either from 0700-1930 or 1900-0730, with rotating time.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, with every other weekend and holiday required; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum 2 years of ICU experience; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA, and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high acuity patient populations; familiarity with telemetry monitoring; ability to titrate titratable infusion drips including Epi, Norepinephrine, Propofol, Precedex, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Heparin, Insulin, Dopamine, Neo, and Milrinone.
• Additional Information:
  • Charge nurse on every shift with a nursing house supervisor available 24/7.
  • ICU staff includes respiratory therapists available 24/7.
  • RNs monitor their own patients' telemetry using GE monitors.
  • Self-scheduling by staff, with consideration for approved time off requests.
  • Floating to Medical Intensive Care Units or within hospital patient observer roles may be required.
  • Completion of a one-day onboarding/CBT and two orientation shifts on the unit, including skills checklist.
  • Clinicians must note if they have previously worked for Marshfield; if so, the end date of prior employment must be at least 6 months before submission.
  • All clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility.
• Client Cancellation Policy: The client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.
