Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Kyle, Texas. This role involves delivering professional nursing care within a high-level trauma center operating environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position supports surgical procedures across various specialties, with an emphasis on critical thinking and the ability to work effectively under stress.

Job Details:

• Location: Kyle, Texas
• Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 0645 to 1500, with on-call rotation including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing or active professional licensure as a Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date; Advanced Life Support (AHA or ARC) obtained within 6 months of hire; BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire; minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in orthopedics, trauma, general gynecology and obstetrics, urology, DaVinci robotic procedures, vascular, and cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience is highly desirable.
• Additional Information: The unit operates within a busy level II trauma center with 8 operating rooms. The RN performs circulating functions, assists surgeons with surgical tasks, and manages patient care before, during, and after procedures. EMR system used is Cerner.
