Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is needed in Plano, Texas. This position involves providing care for patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment in a stepdown setting. Candidates are required to bring their active RN license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Plano, Texas
- Unit: PCU Telemetry, 7th Floor (635)
- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Nights)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active RN license; candidates must have at least 0 years of experience (though preferred experience is 2+ years in hospital and specialty care settings).
- Skills: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; experience with MEDITECH electronic documentation system and PCU/Stepdown nursing is preferred.
- Additional Information: Call requirements apply; guaranteed hours are 36 per week.
- Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs, clean and healthy nail policy, neat hair, covered tattoos, no visible piercings except ears, and adherence to floating and attendance policies.
