Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Step Down units in Golden, Colorado. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care for a 32-bed unit that manages patient conditions requiring intermediate to progressive care. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as health education, counseling, and support therapy. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Golden, Colorado
• Schedule: Nights shift, 1900-0730, three shifts per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing; current RN license in the state of practice or a compact license; BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; previous experience as a registered nurse in a similar setting.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions according to state standards. Assesses and monitors patient health status, provides health teaching and counseling, and ensures documentation complies with regulatory guidelines. The role may involve being on-call and floating to other departments based on operational needs.
