Job Summary:

Job Details:

• Location: Florence, Alabama
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), 5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in nursing skills such as IV starts, ECG rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, arterial lines, and bedside procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a teaching hospital with resident physicians, high-acuity ICU management, advanced devices such as CRRT, IABP, and arterial sheath pulls, experience in Specialty Intensive Care Units such as SICU, MICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or Progressive Care Units.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, including opportunities to float to CVICU, critical care step-down, and med-surg departments if staffing needs arise.
• Additional Information: This role involves working in a multi-bed ICU with equipment including bedside monitoring, ventilators, CRRT machines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and other advanced critical care devices. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team, and operate effectively in critical situations.
