Description
Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is needed in Ottumwa, Iowa. This position involves providing patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in a high-quality medical facility. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
- Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (schedule may vary based on staffing needs)
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license, minimum of 2 years experience in an acute care facility, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), proficiency with Meditech electronic health record system, and experience with C-Section patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric care environments.
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, with self-scheduling; 1 weekday and 1 weekend per 3-4 weeks.
- Additional Information: Self-scheduling allows for flexible work arrangements. Floating-related duties are minimal, with occasional transfers to linen services or med/surg units as a sitter after training.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
