Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Floor care in Wisconsin, Mauston. The position involves providing professional, high-quality nursing care to patients in a general medical-surgical setting, including EICU (Elective Intensive Care Unit) patients. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two-year degree in nursing required; BSN preferred. Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license. BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire. ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire. PALS encouraged.
• Additional Information: Use and perpetuate the nursing process throughout the patient's hospitalization. Perform and assist with procedures per approved departmental policy and procedure. Respond to life-threatening situations following nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols. Ensure proper handling of specimens and maintain infection control procedures. Initiate patient and family education plans and discharge needs. Safely care for multiple patients, maintaining a safe environment and using safety precautions appropriately. Demonstrate understanding of universal precautions and asepsis.
