• Additional Information: The unit provides specialized cardiac care and cares for patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, electrolyte-related dysrhythmias, and tachy-brady syndromes. The team also manages patients awaiting heart transplantation and those with implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and ventricular assist devices (VADs). Providers will deliver expert management for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including pre- and post-cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, ablation, and chemical cardioversion with anti-dysrhythmic therapy such as Tikosyn.
