Description

Job Summary
Pre/Post Op Registered Nurses (Pre Op) Springfield, Illinois. The organization is seeking Registered Nurses to support preoperative and postoperative care in a surgical setting. This role requires clinical competency in perioperative processes and the ability to meet unit needs, including floating within the healthcare facility as required. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift (5x8) from 06:45 to 15:15; minimum 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Illinois (IL) RN license in hand to apply; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; minimum 3 years of experience required; ability to float within the healthcare facility as needed.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Charting system experience (Cerner) preferred/position specific.
  • Additional Information: Open to accommodating block schedule. Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Float may be required within scope to meet facility needs.
