Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Apple Valley, California. This role involves providing specialized care to neonates and infants in a level III NICU with approximately 190 births per month. The facility requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on June 30, 2026, with a night shift schedule.
Job Details:
- Location: Apple Valley, California
- Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: California license in hand, 2 years of experience (at least 1 year in NICU or relevant specialty), BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Bubble CPAP, Central Line Care, Ventilator Management, PICC Lines, and other NICU-specific skills.
- Additional Information: NICU level III; approximately 190 births per month; unit handles prematurity, RDS, feeders and growers, and infants from a large Hispanic community; no surgery performed at this facility. Candidates must be available to work 3 of the 5 specified holidays and be willing to float between facilities as needed within the state.
