Description

Job Summary:
Post Partum (PP) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Walnut Creek, California. This role involves providing care on the postpartum floor, managing patients following vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, among other responsibilities. Candidates are required to bring their California licensure on the first day. The position is for a 12-hour night shift, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Additional Information:
    • Patient population includes vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, postpartum patients with magnesium sulfate therapy, gestational hypertension (GHTN), and Bakari balloon usage
    • Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:3, with ratios depending on patient acuity and census, mandated by California state regulations
    • Float: Float rotation may be required to like units, under same scope of skill
    • The hospital is seeking candidates to start on or after August 11, 2026.
