Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician located in Susanville, California. This position involves ensuring the proper cleaning, sterilization, and handling of surgical instrumentation in accordance with established protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge, mechanical aptitude including the ability to break down moving parts, clean, lubricate, and reassemble equipment, along with effective organizational, communication, and human relation skills. Candidates must have complete national certification as a Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Technician within one year of hire.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education or experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: Does not allow for religious exemptions for COVID at the organization.
• Physical Demands: Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. May be required to lift up to 75 pounds and push carts weighing up to 500 lbs. Must use proper body mechanics and wear protective clothing as required.
• Environmental Factors: Exposure to toxic chemicals, high noise levels, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, and confined spaces may occur.
• Location: Susanville, California.
