Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse (CN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Emeryville, California, is responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of practice outlined by the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. Candidates are required to bring their licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day. This role involves utilizing evidence-based nursing practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, as well as educating patients and their families throughout the recovery process.
Job Details:
- Location: Emeryville, California
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; CA-RN (California Registered Nurse) license; Current American Heart Association certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers; ability to communicate effectively in English; zero years of experience required
