Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Obstetrics (Lactation and Delivery preferred) in Perryville, Missouri. This position involves providing obstetric care in a small-town hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their licensed nursing credentials on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Perryville, Missouri
• Shift: Night, 12 hours (6:45 pm - 7:15 am) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
• Experience: 0+ years of experience required, with a minimum of 2+ years preferred based on traveler skills strength
• Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours guaranteed weekly, with occasional overtime but cannot grant requests for 48 hours per week
• Standby: Minimal weekend hours only to cover core staff PTO
• Additional Information: Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; exemptions must be client approved
• Float: Float rotation may be required as needed within scope of practice, not taking patients on medical units
• Equipment: Typical hospital equipment, electronic medical records system in EPIC
• Patient Population: Obstetrics with approximately 8 deliveries per month, 2 nurses per shift, 7 total beds in the unit
• Unit Environment: Small hospital with a Level III critical access designation, emergency department, surgery center, birthing center, outpatient services, and a busy obstetrics department
• Personal Traits: Independent, confident in skills, comfortable working in a small setting
• Dress Code: Scrubs, facility-issued uniform
