Description

Job Summary
Critical Care Nursing Specialist in Jacksonville, Florida. This position involves caring for patients in a high-acuity Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role requires managing complex patient conditions, including neurosurgery, open heart procedures, TAVR, septic shock, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

  • Location: Jacksonville, Florida
  • Shift Time: Nights
  • Shift Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Minimum Experience: 0 years of experience required
  • Schedule: 36 or 48 hours contracts acceptable. Every other weekend required.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, basic nursing education, and minimal experience preferred.
  • Additional Information: Easter holiday coverage required. This unit is a high-acuity 30-bed ICU caring for patients with complex conditions such as neurosurgery, open heart, TAVR, septic shock, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Impella devices, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, pacemakers, drug infusions, chest tubes, and Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). CVICU experience highly preferred.
