Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in Long Term Care located in Newport News, Virginia. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting with a focus on safety, collaboration, and patient education. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Newport News, Virginia
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (ACLS required if CIRH only), at least two (2) years of bedside clinical experience, experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), critical care, or step-down units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform nursing assessments, coordinate patient care, facilitate discharge planning, and participate in team activities. Responsibilities include documentation, patient education, supervision of ancillary nursing staff, and ensuring safety standards are met, including compliance with safety policies and procedures.
