Job Summary:
Neurology Specialty Nurse in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing care on a Step Down/Acute Care Neurology unit, primarily focusing on patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, seizure, and traumatic brain injury. The candidate is required to bring their nursing license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Unit Type: Step Down/Acute Care Neurology
- Skills: Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Schedule: Days shift, 36 hours per week, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, 0 years of experience, location in Indianapolis, Indiana
- Additional Information: Holiday rotation
- Unit Description: This is a neurology-specific unit with a patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5. Majority of patients are neuro-related (stroke, seizure, traumatic brain injury, etc). The unit's scrub color is Royal Blue.
