Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position involves providing nursing care for patients on a medically complex step-down unit, with bedside cardiac monitoring as a standard. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours weekly, with every other weekend and one major holiday per contract
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); at least 0 years of nursing experience; located in Indiana or willing to relocate to Indiana
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a step-down or progressive care setting; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Additional Information: All patients in the unit are on bedside cardiac monitors. Typical RN to patient ratio is 1:4. The unit is a 44-bed step-down unit managing medically complex patients with drips including heparin, insulin, cardizem, nicardipine, and dobutamine.
