Description
Job Summary:
A Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility is available. This role involves providing specialized patient care for individuals transitioning from intensive care to less acute settings, ensuring optimal recovery and stability. The position requires extensive experience with the surgical patient population and telemetry monitoring, supporting a diverse range of post-operative and transplant cases.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 1 year of experience working with surgical patients and telemetry; current drivers license or state ID; completion of the organizations professional profile; three professional references
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for patients with post open-heart surgery, heart transplants, left ventricular assist device (LVAD) management, leg bypass procedures, rib resections, and pneumonectomy cases.
