Job Summary:
The surgical technologist position is available in Hermiston, Oregon. This role involves assisting in operative and invasive procedures by preparing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment, ensuring a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team throughout procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Hermiston, Oregon
- Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program; BLS certification; 0 years of experience required; Candidates must bring their license on the first day
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified surgical technologist (CST) certification; CRASE training (if the travel assignment extends beyond 6 months)
- Additional Information: Facilitate operative procedures by preparing sterile instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting with post-procedure room cleaning; participate in ongoing training and competency activities; support the organizations mission, vision, and policies.
