Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse - Mother Baby Unit in Boise, Idaho. This position involves providing postpartum and mother/baby care in a busy Mother Baby Unit. Candidates are required to bring their registered nurse license on the first day of employment. The unit cares for postpartum mothers and newborns, following established protocols and guidelines to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Job Details:
- Location: Boise, Idaho
- Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), weekends as needed
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE Certification
- Experience: 0 years of experience required; preferred candidates have 2 or more years of relevant experience in similar postpartum settings
- Required Qualifications: RN license, Certifications as listed, Location in Boise, Idaho, and zero prior years of experience
- Additional Information: Expected to work holidays as needed; floating to other hospitals in the area; organizational orientation provided before floating; scrubs in any color, closed-toe shoes required; charting system is Epic; no specific trauma level indicated; care setting is acute; shift notes include potential cancellations with up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract
