Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Golden, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, as well as provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy to patients.

Job Details:

• Location: Golden, Colorado
• Schedule: 3x12-hour Nights, 1900-0730, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing); RN License in a single state or a Compact State License; BLS (American Heart Association) Certification; ACLS (American Heart Association) Certification; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification; 0+ years of minimum experience; valid drivers license if applicable; candidates must bring their licensure on the first day.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing; previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting; appropriate certifications for the unit or service.
• Additional Information: This role may require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, as well as being placed on-call during scheduled shifts. The candidate will be providing comprehensive nursing care, including health assessments, care planning, health teaching, treatment monitoring, documentation, resource utilization, delegation, supervision, consultation, health counseling, and therapy provision.
